A Consultation is required for every new patient. It is an opportunity to meet our team, ask questions and determine what treatments and procedures are right for you. During your initial Consultation, your medical team will go over any medical problems, current medications, including vitamins, supplements, and any pertinent surgical history.

Your Consultation is the perfect opportunity to address all of your concerns related to patient safety, how to prepare, possible risks, downtime and aftercare. It’s also an opportunity for you to learn about our philosophy and qualifications.

Your provider will also ask about your goals and expectations. Keeping your goals in mind, we come up with a shared plan of treatments that can help you achieve your desired result, what kind of results you can expect, and what’s involved in the treatment or procedure. The Luminary team will also discuss costs and financing as well as risks and possible complications.

Ready to schedule your treatment? Great! Some treatments can happen same the day (such as Botox, Peels, etc). More time intensive treatments (such as full facial balancing, most filler appointments) will be preformed at a later date. If you’re not ready to schedule, that’s okay, too.

The Luminary offers Botox and Dysport. They are both neurotoxins, which is a fancy term for muscle relaxer. Wrinkles are formed over time by repetitive movements and Botox/Dysport help stop that movement, which softens current wrinkles and prevents future ones. Botox and Dysport take 2 weeks to fully kick in and last 3-4 months.

Sculptra is a non-hyaluronic acid filler which consists of Poly- L-Lactic Acid, a biostimulatory substance that has been used in the human body since 1960. This treatment activates your skin’s natural power to revitalize collagen production for a more youthful appearance. Results can be expected over several weeks as the body starts producing collagen where the substance was injected.

Sculptra is administered through a series of treatments, typically about three sessions 4-6 weeks apart.. Collagen induction therapy AKA microneedling is the secret to youthful, glowing skin.
