Pre-appointment Instructions

1. Immunizations & Dental Work: Avoid appointments if you had immunizations or dental work in the past 30 days. Contact us to reschedule.

2. Illness: If you’ve been recently ill or don’t feel well, please reschedule your appointment.

3. Bruising and Swelling: Schedule injections to avoid social obligations disruption. While we minimize bruising, it’s still possible.

4. Blood Thinners: Stop Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Aspirin, Motrin, Vitamin E, fish oil, flax, gingko biloba, garlic, St. John’s Wort, and other NSAIDs 7-10 days before treatment. Consult your physician before stopping prescribed medications.

5. Alcohol: Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment.

6. Arnica: Consider Arnica one week before treatment to help with bruising and swelling.

7. Cold Sores: Notify us if you have a history of cold sores. We may recommend antiviral medication. Reschedule if you have open sores in the treatment area.

8. Clean Skin: Arrive with clean skin; light moisturizer and SPF are okay, but avoid heavy makeup.

9. Eat Before Appointment: Have a meal or snack before your appointment.

10. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: We cannot treat pregnant or breastfeeding women.

These instructions ensure your safety and optimal results. Contact us with any questions or concerns.

Cancellation policy: Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the provider’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be automatically charged a cancellation fee of $50 to the card on file.

Haley is a Registered Nurse currently pursuing her graduate degree at Northern Illinois University. Originally from North Carolina, Haley has also lived in Georgia and Washington State before settling in Peoria with her husband and their two dogs. With a background in aesthetics and a passion for natural, full-face results, Haley focuses on helping clients feel confident and refreshed, never overdone. Her approach is all about enhancing your unique features while maintaining balance. When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find her quilting, working on creative projects, or spending time outdoors with her pups.

Samantha is our expert esthetician at The Luminary. With a passion for skin and a heart for people, she’s all about creating relaxing, results-driven experiences that leave you feeling as good as you look. Whether it’s a glow-inducing facial or the perfect Hydrafacial, her calming presence and attention to detail make every visit feel like a mini retreat.

She is currently attending nursing school with dreams of blending her love for aesthetics with advanced medical training. Heidi is a dual-licensed registered nurse in Illinois and Georgia with over a decade of experience in specialties including female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic vaginal surgery, and cardiology. Originally from Iowa, she has lived in Washington State and Georgia and now calls Central Illinois home, where she resides with her husband and two daughters.

Lyndsie Ingold, FPA, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified, full practice authority Advanced Practice Nurse with over a decade of experience as both a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked across multiple specialties, including family practice and medical weight loss. Lyndsie is passionate about helping people look and feel their best, inside and out.
